Determined to Beat the Winter Weather
17 December, 2008 | Posted by MarvynMy friend and I bought tickets to the NY Football Giants vs. Carolina Panthers a few months ago. At that time the Giants were rolling at 11-1 and were a lock to return to the Super Bowl. With 2 straight losses, the Big Blue’s offense has disappeared and the Panthers are now in position to take the lead of the NFL NFC. The game has been flexed scheduled from 1:15 to 8:15 pm (est) for Sunday Night Football. The forecast for that night is cloudy with a wintry mix. Highs in the low 30s and lows in the low 20s.
My initial plan — before knowing about the snow — was to layer up, but remain…what’s the opposite of less poofy? I want to stay mobile, but not be restricted by the bloat of looking like Stay Puft. Now that there’s a possibility of wintry mix so I might have to add in a poncho or something. Any other tips you can suggest? Oh, and I also have these hand/feet warmers. I’ve tested out my layer setup in 25-30° weather with Snow. I’ve found my weak spots are my hands and neck.
