We got this Fisher-Price Aquarium Cradle Swing from Tito Vic and Tita Norian (Thanks) and it’s supposed to help Jagger sleep—Something he doesn’t have a problem with. Feed him some formula and he’ll sleep for the next 3 hours until it’s time to eat again. Now I have it in my office so that I don’t have to keep lugging the bouncer from our living room. Gotta economize and forget my wish of buying another crib for the office. (See, I’m learning to be more responsible with money)

Another Mommy Trait

Not only does Jagger have his mommy’s toes, he also has a leaking hole at the corner of his mouth.

Yo! What Up Dog?

Raise your hand if you have no idea why his bib has a “FISH” graphic. When will Jagger ever be eating the cow of the sea? It’s like one of his baby blankets that says “Tonchdown!”.

Caught this fleece vest/wrap over at Ohdeedoh and my immediate thoughts were, “Quaaaaid, staaaart the reactooor…” (If you have no idea what I’m talking about, click here) I want to keep my little boy warm, but not at the sake of looking like a mutated human from Mars. And at $70 a pop, I think I can pick up a fleece hoodie from Old Navy, cut a hole, and use the remaining $50 on blow and hookers…I mean toys and diapers for Jagger.

Speaking of Arnold, a new Terminator Salvation trailer was released last week. I have to say, it’s starting to look good. Plus I love the song for the trailer: The Day The World Went Away by NIN—A five minute song with about three sentences of lyrics. I also heard rumors that Arnold may cameo, but please save us from another Terminator 3 performance.

By the way, who was in charge of casting for T3? I find the transition hard to swallow, from Eddie Furlong to Nick Stahl to Christian Bale. I don’t really have a problem with Eddie or Christian, but who thought that Yellow Bastard would be a good fit to play John Conner? Seriously.

First order of business: One of the attendees of Mary’s birthday soiree left his/her sweater behind. Claim this lovely knit at the next family gathering.

Bath Time

Jagger had his first “real” bath today(he has had sponge baths before this). Of course he cried for a good majority of it. He simply does not want to be cold, let alone wet.

Call the Wahhhhhbulance!

I’ve developed two techniques to stop Jagger from crying. The first technique is where I pretend cry with him, which makes him stop and stare at me. Effective, but it’s not something I’m going to do in public. The other option is to cradle and rock him to sleep. Not a useful technique when I need him awake. Any suggestions?

Poop Encounter

I had my first poop disaster with Jagger a few nights ago. I need him awake for his late night feeding so I stripped him down to his diaper to wake him up. After he ate, we were watching Sports Center and a little peanut butter slipped past his diaper and onto my shirt. I should have put his pajamas back on, but lesson learned.

I have officially joined the WAHD (Work At Home Dad). I don't know any other dad driven bloggers out there. I'm a member of one.

Anyway, I think I'll start a little weekly tidbits of my daddy life. Click the link to read the little morsels of my new daddy job.

I have officially joined the WAHD (Work At Home Dad). I don’t know any other dad driven bloggers out there. I’m a member of one.

Anyway, I think I’ll start a little weekly tidbits of my daddy life.

Appliance Challenged

I do web development and design for a living. I play with tons of little electronic gadgets like night vision goggles for walking Oreo in the dark. I spend about 1-2 hours playing video games every night. So you could easily say I’m in tune with technology. But I do not understand how to operate our Advent bottle sanitize. It looks like a rice cooker and to this day I still cannot figure out. It’s even more insulting that I’m Filipino–It’s a staple of the asian diet. To my defense, I’ve been washing tons of laundry on our new washer and dryer set.

Milk Taste Testing

I’ll admit it. I tasted my wife’s breast milk. It was actually pretty tasteless. Much like watered down milk w/o any sugary taste. In contrast, the Similac soy milk formula smells like french fries and tastes like sweat socks.

Big Grunting Baby

I have several nicknames for my little boy and the latest one is BGB (Big Grunting Baby). He has a grunt for everything. Pick him up, “ehhhhhh”. Put him down, “hehe”. Now I purposely move him around just to hear him grunt. Very cute.
