Our mattress was on it’s last leg — The middle was sagging, the springs were creaking, and the pillow top was ripping. With a baby on the way, Mary had wanted a Tempur-Pedic bed. So off to Sleepy’s we went to test out different models and get prices. More after the jump…

Tonight marks another night of eating fast food. I’m not channeling Super Size Me or anything, but I would say 3-4 times a week we’re playing carousel with Burger King, KFC, and Taco Bell. Yummy right? My weight hasn’t changed much as my metabolism keeps me on the thinner side. But that doesn’t mean I can’t just explode like Pizza The Hut. Please don’t eat my pepperoni. Wait, what?

Mythic Paint has a large selection of colors, more than I have seen with other low VOC paints like Benjamin Moore’s Harmony or Lowe’s Freshaire. In addition, they can match any color you like. In my case, I had a local Mythic Paint dealer match a Sherman Williams color – Aqua Sphere 7613. Pictures after the jump…

I’ve always been in self denial that Oreo is a senior dog. Every time I’m at Petco, I’m always indecisive whether to switch him to Wellness Just For Seniors or stick with the purple bag mix. He has a heart murmur, a common heart problem for older dogs. Pics and story after the jump…

I have to admit that they have kept their promise on that end, but how well does its application really perform? Read on as I give my thoughts on the performance of this paint in my two part review. More after the jump…

Craigslist's Bargains - Would You Buy Here?

I've been browsing through the Craigslist classifieds and found some really great deals on a few baby items, but I shudder the thought of ever putting my child near these used items. For example, Similac Advance Infant Formula 12.9oz costs $13.99 at Babies R Us. It can be found on Craigslist for as low as $7. I wouldn't mind saving money, but I reluctant to trust formula from a stranger. Read More
